11 countries to exhibit for the first time at Seafood Expo Asia

11 countries are to be present for the first time at Seafood Expo Asia, between 4 and 6 September, in Hong Kong. This year, SEA is bringing over 200 exhibiting companies from more than 30 countries together, along with experts and chefs from around the world. Also, 11 countries will be present and showcase their seafood for the first time: Bulgaria, Fiji, Greece, Kiribati, Monaco, Oman, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Romania, Solomon Islands, and Tonga, informs Seafood Source magazine.
Seafood Expo Asia is also featuring an open market concept “Product Showcase.” Every exhibitor will get a complimentary entry into the product display, where any product – whether it is live, fresh, frozen, packaged, ready-to-eat, or more – will be on display.
Ireland, China, Japan, and the Solomon Islands.
Young chefs from around the world will get the chance to compete in one of the newest events of this trade fair, the Young Chef Challenge.
The event will be judged by Gerhard Passrugger, Executive Chef from the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong; Pedro Samper, Executive Chef from The Langham Hong Kong; Vicky Lau, Chef and Owner of the Tate Dining Room & Bar; event ambassador Gabriel Choy; and guest judge celebrity chef Christian Yang.
