Animal welfare is one of the topics that are of high interest among the consumers and Dutch company Vitelco intends to capitalize on this current trend. The company intends to open new markets in different regions of the world but also to stabilize its position in the Italian, French and German markets, as John Poel, Commercial Director, VITELCO, mentioned in an interview for EuroMeatNews. "At this moment we are seeing that people are interested not only in the veal but also by some products, like VitelPro that is more fore specialists but also for animal welfare. We are also introducing a brand that is called Vitel Oke and that is more animal welfare oriented", declared Mr Poel.
