Polish farmers to get affordable loans

Last week, Polish National Center for Agricultural Support (KOWR) launched a new line of loans as the cheapest financial model for individual farmers. The announcement was made by the general director of KOWR, Piotr Serafin and the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski.

The preferential interest rate will be 2.85% per annum. The maximum loan amount can not exceed 80%. investment costs. According to the Financial Plan of KOWR for 2018, PLN 10 million (€2.3 million) has been allocated for this purpose.
"The loans proposed to farmers will be granted up to a maximum of PLN 500,000 (€116,370) or 6 years with the possibility of extending up to 10 years", explained Piotr Serafin.
