Belgian Meat Office joins Carnexpo GRILL
Belgian Meat Office will join the Carnexpo Grill event this month as a partner. In time, the agency has become one of the longstanding partners for the events organized by Carnexpo, Industria Carnii and EuroMeatNews.
Established in 2003, under the umbrella of VLAM - Flanders' Agricultural Marketing Board, the Belgian Meat Office functions as an interface of Belgian companies and has the role of encouraging and supporting the export of pork and beef, but also to promote B2B meetings.
Fresh pork and beef are the main products that Belgian producers export. Germany, Poland and the Netherlands remain Belgium's main trading partners, followed by the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom.
CARNEXPO Grill stands as a unique event in Romania aiming to promote local products that mark the opening of the grilling season and the launch of BBQ products and to eliminate formal barriers around standard conferences. The event brings together specialists in the food industry, HoReCa and retail in a distinguished location. Here, partnerships can be easily linked to a meal with the tastiest grill products or a glass of wine from select wineries.
This year' edition will be exceptional, with many surprises for participants, in view of the partnerships concluded by CARNEXPO Grill with the National Association of Cooks and Confectioners in Tourism (ANBCT), the Association of Italian Chefs, the Culinary Institute Disciples Escoffier, the Association of Meat Processors of the Republic of Moldova the organizers of the "D`ale Porcului" Festival (which will give live demonstrations of pork preparation) and last but not least, special guests from Belgium, Spain and Germany. CARNEXPO Grill also enjoys the support of associations in the meat industry: the Romanian Meat Association (ARC), the Association of Romanian Pork Producers (APCPR), the Association of Cattle Breeders and Exporters of Cattle, Sheep and Pigs (ACEBOP), the Association of Salami Producers of Sibiu (APSS).
Outstanding personalities from the agri-food sector, specialists and suppliers will participate in CARNEXPO Grill as speakers and will provide participants with their experience and know-how to develop the local market. Technology providers have a special place in this new edition, as they have the opportunity to exhibit their equipment and make demonstrations within the TECH DAY concept - a day dedicated to technology.
