Brazil: Chicken meat exports totaled 434,900 tons in November
In the month, revenue from shipments reached US$810.7 million, a 9.3% decrease compared to the eleventh month of last year, which totaled US$893.4 million.
In the year (January to November), chicken meat exports reached 4.813 million tons, a volume 0.7% lower compared to the first eleven months of 2024, which totaled 4.845 million tons. In revenue, the total for the year up to November reached US$ 8.842 billion, a figure 2.5% lower than last year's US$ 9.071 billion.
The United Arab Emirates is the main destination for exports from the sector in 2025, with 433,800 tons shipped between January and November (+2.1% compared to the previous year). Next are Japan, with 367,400 tons (-10.8%), Saudi Arabia, with 362,600 tons (+6.3%), South Africa, with 288,600 tons (-4.6%), and Mexico, with 238,200 tons (+16.2%).
As Brazil's main exporting state, Paraná shipped 1.915 million tons in 2025 (3.94% less compared to the same period of the previous year), followed by Santa Catarina, with 1.086 million tons (+1.76%), Rio Grande do Sul, with 615 thousand tons (-3.25%), São Paulo, with 297 thousand tons (+9.57%) and Goiás, with 246 thousand tons (+10.69%).
"In the case of chicken, we observed the effects of shipping delays at certain ports, which impacted the data from the last weeks of November, leading to a decrease in expectations for the month's data," analyzes Ricardo Santin, president of ABPA.
