Brazil: Egg exports remain up 5.8 percent in November
In terms of revenue, exports from the sector totaled US$5,247 million in November, a 32.8% increase compared to the eleventh month of 2024, which totaled US$3,953 million.
In the year (January to November), total shipments from the sector reached 38,637 tons, a volume 135.4% higher compared to last year's 16,414 tons. In revenue, the total recorded up to November reached US$ 92,130 million, a balance 163.5% higher compared to the first eleven months of 2024, with US$ 34,965 million.
Among the main destinations, Japan led in November with 757 tons (+266.8% compared to the previous year), followed by Mexico with 284 tons (+51%), Chile with 261 tons (-29.1%), the United Arab Emirates with 205 tons (-9.7%) and Uruguay with 96 tons (-16.9%).
"Egg export volumes continue at a high rate compared to previous years, now with new high value-added destinations, which is favoring the profitability of shipments," advises the president of ABPA, Ricardo Santin.
