Brazil: Pork meat exports totaled 106,500 tons in November

Brazilian pork exports (considering all products, both fresh and processed) totaled 106,500 tons in November, a volume 12.5% lower compared to the same period last year, which totaled 121,100 tons. Revenue for the period reached US$248.2 million, a 14.9% decrease compared to the previous year's US$291.7 million.

Brazil: Pork meat exports totaled 106,500 tons in November

For the year, pork shipments have accumulated a 10.4% increase, reaching 1.372 million tons in the first eleven months of 2025, compared to 1.243 million tons in the same period of the previous year. Revenue recorded between January and November reached US$ 3.294 billion, an 18.7% increase compared to the previous year's US$ 2.774 billion.

The Philippines was the main destination for exports, with 350,100 tons (+49.1%), followed by China, with 149,000 tons (-32.6%), Chile, with 109,100 tons (+5.8%), Japan, with 101,200 tons (+18.9%) and Hong Kong, with 99,100 tons (+1.8%).

Santa Catarina, the main exporting state, shipped 688,400 tons between January and November (+50.73% compared to the previous year). It was followed by Rio Grande do Sul, with 317,300 tons (+17%), Paraná, with 214,900 tons (+25.7%), Mato Grosso, with 34,500 tons (+0.71%) and Minas Gerais, with 33,700 tons (+29.6%).

"In the case of pork, we observed the effects of shipping delays at certain ports, which impacted the data from the last weeks of November, leading to a decrease in expectations for the month's data", analyzes Ricardo Santin, president of ABPA.
