Castilla y León savors INTERPORC's Serrano Ham Sandwich Route

In Burgos, the unit is installed on September 29 and 30 and October 1 on Paseo Sierra de Atapuerca. Subsequently, on October 2, 3, and 6, it will be located in Valladolid, on Paseo Zorrilla next to the Letras de Valladolid.

During these days, visitors will be able to participate in practical workshops on making sandwiches with healthy ingredients, talks given by a nutritionist on the benefits of a balanced diet, and educational screenings and activities tailored to all ages that highlight the tradition and flavor of Serrano ham. In addition, a visit by several school groups is scheduled for the first day.

The Route began in the summer along the Mediterranean coast, visiting towns in Catalonia, the Valencian Community, the Region of Murcia, and Andalusia. During that period, more than 2,000 sandwiches were distributed to visitors of the mobile unit. After the Route resumed in inland towns in Catalonia and Aragon, more than 3,000 sandwiches have already been distributed, reflecting the great interest this initiative generates wherever it goes.
