Dobrimex plans increased production after investing 48 million euros
Following an investment of 47.9 million euros in the facilities from north-western region of Poland, executives from Dobrimex announced a boost of capacity for this year, according to Portalspozwczy.pl.
The move is expected to meet the demand on the local market and exports to countries in the EU, where Dobrimex exports about 30% of the products.
“The company’s plan for 2018 is to raise its slaughter capacity to 1m head per week, and to ensure that we have sufficient sales of our products both domestically and abroad”, explained Klaus Roppel, the chairman of the management board of Dobrimex.
The processing plant in Goleniow has a new hall fitted with new packaging lines for processed meat and storage facilities. At this moment, the company exports about 1,800 tonnes of meat per month. Dobrimex is part of PHW Group, a German poultry business and is enabled to produce halal meat, according to the company.
