U.S. broiler exports for January through November 2022 reached an all-time high in both volume and value, according to new trade data released by the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service.

US broiler exports posted solid gains in November

China, Taiwan, Angola, Philippines, Georgia, Congo (Brazzaville), Vietnam, Gabon, Gambia, Singapore, Canada, and Turkmenistan showed tremendous gains in broiler exports from the same period a year earlier.

Broiler exports for the first 11 months of 2022 were 3,490,748 metric tons, up 5.5 percent from the same period a year earlier, while export value reached $4.843 billion, up 19.0 percent. Of the total, 47.3 percent or 1,651,417 metric tons were shipped to the top six markets, including Mexico, China, Cuba, Taiwan, Philippines, and Angola.
