USDA: Global beef exports increased by 13.0654 bilion tons in 2025
In the first quarter of this year, Brazil increased its exports by 11%, while Australia increased its sales by 13%, in both cases surpassing last year's exports, which were supposed to have reached a peak. One record after another.

It would not be surprising if the USDA's latest forecasts for global export volumes were surpassed by reality throughout the year and if global exports in 2025 again grew above expectations, as happened in 2024.
As for international prices, the average across various products and markets is 12-15% higher than a year ago, despite the depreciation of the currencies of many purchasing countries.
In the case of Brazil, the world's leading exporter and price setter, it should be noted that forequarters of steer destined for China, which was valued at US$4,200 per ton FOB in the middle of last year, have recently been quoted at US$6,200 per ton by Brazilian meatpackers.
In the American market, where cattle and meat prices are at historic highs, analysts note that despite supply constraints and extraordinary strength in demand, cattle futures have been showing declines in the most distant positions in recent days, so prices could be expected to decline at some point.
