New labelling system announced for Spain
Starting next year, Spaniards will be able to make better choices when they select their food due to the NutriScore labelling system. The system will be implemented in the first quarter of 2021, according to the Minister of Consumer Affairs, Alberto Garzon, quoted by Carnica magazine.

The choice of this labelling system is due to the fact that it has more support from scientists and nutrition specialists, from consumer associations and, in addition, it is more intuitive for the consumer.
