Brazil: Egg exports reach 3.7 thousand tons in March

In terms of revenue, Brazilian egg shipments totaled US$8.650 million, a growth of 383% compared to the US$1.79 million recorded in March last year.

In the year to date, exports reached 8,654 tons, an increase of 97.2% compared to the 4,388 tons exported in the same period in 2024. In terms of revenue, growth was 116.1%, reaching US$ 17.77 million in 2025, compared to US$ 8.22 million in the previous year.

Leading the export destination from January to March, the United States imported 2,705 tons, a balance 346.4% higher than in the same period last year. Next are the United Arab Emirates, with 1,422 tons (-9%), Chile, with 1,182 tons (+65.4%), Japan, with 846 tons (132.4%) and Mexico, recently opened, with 576 tons.

"This month we have seen, in a more expressive way, the positive results of the United States’ opening to eggs produced in Brazil for local thermoprocessing for human consumption products. At the same time as preserving the domestic supply of products for the domestic market, since they represent around 1% of the total produced in the country, exports represent an important achievement for the advancement of the segment", evaluates the president of ABPA, Ricardo Santin.
