Brazilian Beef strengthens its agenda in China with participation in SIAL Shanghai 2026

The Brazilian Beef project, an initiative of the Brazilian Association of Meat Exporting Industries (ABIEC) in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), will be in China from May 14th to 20th for another round of trade promotion and business generation. The program includes The  Beef and Road event in Chongqing on May 14th and 15th, and participation in SIAL Shanghai 2026 from May 18th to 20th, bringing together Brazilian companies, importers, and industry representatives.

At the trade fair, held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center,  Brazilian Beef  will have a booth spanning over 1,200 square meters, located in  Hall N4 ,  Stands D024 and G043. The space will bring together 24 companies associated with ABIEC, a 20% increase compared to the previous edition, and will focus on business meetings, institutional gatherings, and contact with buyers from different regions of Asia.

Participating in this edition are Astra, Barra Mansa, Beauvallet, Better Beef, Boi Brasil, BoiBras Foods, Cooperfrigu, Frialto, Frigoestrela, Frigol, Frigon, Frigosul, Iguatemi Foods, Intertrans, JBS, Masterboi, Mercúrio, Naturafrig, Plena, Prima Foods, Ramax Grupo, Rio Maria, RXM, and Supremo. The increase in the number of companies reflects the demand from the Chinese market and the need to serve different channels, such as retail and  food service.

During the fair, the Barbacoa team will be responsible for preparing Brazilian beef cuts, with presentations aimed at a professional audience.

“Participation in SIAL Shanghai and the organization of  The Beef and Road  are part of a consistent movement to expand the presence of Brazilian beef in China, with promotional and commercial relationship actions throughout the chain. These are initiatives aimed at generating business and bringing together importers and distributors, both in major centers and in regions outside the traditional axis,” highlighted the president of Abiec, Roberto Perosa.
