INTERPORC strengthens the positioning of Spanish pork in Southeast Asia
INTERPORC's stand, located within the Spanish pavilion of ICEX Spain Exports and Investments, received over 1,000 visitors. Furthermore, it took advantage of its presence at the trade fair to hold several high-level meetings with representatives of meat traders and importers' associations from Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
A constant flow of specialized professionals reflects the relevance of Spanish products in international markets, as well as the trust they inspire due to their high standards of quality and food safety. Furthermore, they were all able to witness firsthand the versatility of Spanish pork at the showcookings and ham and chorizo tastings held at the stand.
Alberto Herranz, CEO of INTERPORC, highlighted that "Singapore, due to its growing importance as a logistics and commercial platform for accessing other Asian markets, offers us a high growth potential for Spanish pork."
Alongside the trade fair activities, INTERPORC has developed initiatives aimed at strengthening the sector's position and fostering business relationships. Among these, a meeting with over 50 operators from various Asian countries stands out. This event, designed to facilitate direct contact between companies and potential strategic partners, was inaugurated by the Spanish Ambassador to Singapore, Álvaro de la Riva.
