In the first two months, Paraguay exported a total of 2,692,018 kilos of pork, 88% of which was destined for the Taiwan market.

These exports reached a value of almost 6 million dollars, 44% higher than the amount earned in the first two months of last year

Similarly, between January and February, the pork sector also recorded the export of some 65,000 kilos of offal, a product that had not registered sales abroad in the same period last year.

On the other hand, beef exports registered a negative difference of 26% when comparing the figures for January and February of this year with those of last year.

In the first two months of 2026, approximately 444.3 million kilograms were exported, valued at $287.9 million. This figure represents a 15% decrease compared to the same period in 2025.

Regarding the destinations for beef exports, Chile remains the main market, followed by Israel, the United States, and Taiwan. Brazil ranks fifth, followed by Canada, Kuwait, Germany, and Russia.

Another sector that is declining is poultry meat, which registered a 16% reduction in volume between January and February, compared to the same period last year.
