Weber: Comprehensive solutions for greater efficiency and flexibility in food processing
As a system provider with a holistic approach, Weber has always stood for practical, efficient and future-proof processing and packaging solutions along the entire process chain. With the new brand name promise “Expect More”, the company is making it clear: that customers can expect not just that but more in every respect – more technological finesse, more innovative solutions, more quality, more service. Weber will be demonstrating that this “more” is not just a promise, but an actual claim at FACHPACK in Hall 1, Stand 1-434.
One of the exhibits on the Weber stand: a high-performance complete line. From the slicer to the thermoformer including a cross web labeler, it's specially tailored to the needs of food manufacturers with a wide range of products and changing production requirements. Whether fresh meat such as marinated steaks or multi-track premium products such as cooked sausage
and raw sausage - this line provides full-range producers with an economical solution for small batches as well as medium and high output ranges, without having to compromise on flexibility or product quality. Customers thus benefit from a future-proof solution with maximum flexibility.
A key feature of the line is its design for skin packaging – an increasingly popular packaging format that offers both functional and visual benefits – for a high-quality, attractive product presentation. A particular plus point: the realization of skin packs on the wePACK 4000 included in the line concept does not require special configuration of the packaging machine.
Customers who want to produce other types of packaging on the same line not only save on investment costs, but avoid unnecessary technology and additional downtime potential and maintenance costs.
In addition to the complete line, Weber will also be exhibiting a packaging concept at FACHPACK consisting of the wePACK 7000 high-performance thermoforming packaging machine, the new wePICK record picking robot and the weSORT 3000 belt separator for high-performance processing and attractive packaging of sliced products or piece goods. The highlight of this concept is the new wePICK – the fastest delta robot in its class. It guarantees maximum precision with no overshoot and enables a higher production volume per pick robot.
This reduces both investment costs and the need for operating personnel - without compromising on performance. Visitors to the Weber booth will be able to see the performance for themselves.
Weber will also present some impressive new products and features in the field of packaging technology, including a new, innovative film insertion system that enables simple and ergonomic threading of a fresh bottom film, and the Weber SmartChange quick-change system for changing the forming station and lower forming tools. Both help to reduce set-up times and increase machine availability - a real advantage, especially with frequently changing products.
